The name is 02 magnum real names Olamide Ogunboye. His music career started when he was 12years old, and it got people asking if he was ok and if he wasn’t smoking anything, it was as if music was an abomination to his old folks. The first song he wrote was about me going to a place he never knew... meaning less though, but thank God for the encouragement of his sister, she kept on telling him that she believed in him.
Then it happened, he met this older dude Tyrone, then my dream became a reality, he took O2 to his studio, and O2 did a couple of freestyles for him and he was shocked that a kid this age could bust such flows, and Tyrone said he wanted me to be a part of his dream of making a record label. Then it all began. With the help of Mark X he did his first song “what you want from me”.
The biggest encouragement was when Mr. Mudi came along and said he was ready to sponsor the label and make it something because of the talents he found. If there’s any thing we know about this O2, the sky is the limit!!!
